This page provides the instructions for the labs on programming Wifibot autonomous vehicle.

Goals:

  • Setup ROS in autonomous vehicles
  • Program autonomous vehicle to accomplish the tasks in sensing, control, navigation and communications
  • Prototype a multi-autonomous vehicle testbed

Labs:

  1. ROS setup and programming
  2. Sensors setup and testing
  3. Motor control and localization
  4. Navigation and Point Cloud Library
  5. Communication protocols
  6. Networking with infrastructure

Tasks:

  1. Present an in-class tutorial
  2. Document lab instructions
  3. Guide classmates to complete labs
  4. Set lab assignments (need to discuss with me and TA)
